New Workshop: Getting Started with Drupal

I recently celebrated my 11 year anniversary on Drupal.org. Drupal is powerful and flexible, therefore it’s sometimes difficult to get started. Over the years I’ve learned that it’s okay to ask for help, and I have many mentors to thank for where I am today. That’s why I love to teach and give back to the community.

All of this is why I’m happy to announce that we’re offering Getting Started with Drupal 8: an online, half-day introduction on November 30th, 10:00 am PST / 1:00 pm EST.

This workshop will be hands-on and catered to people who have never used Drupal before. We’re going to run through the basics of what makes Drupal special, touch on some case studies, and discover how to use structured content and dynamic lists to unlock capabilities to build anything we want.

The workshop is free, so tell your friends, family, and colleagues who want to build their first Drupal site. Everyone will receive a workbook that they can use to run through the material again or share with anyone who couldn’t make it.

This year we’re partnering up with Drupalize.me, OSTraining, and DrupalEasy to smooth your transition into even more training after the workshop is over. We’ll be sharing exclusive discounts and giveaways for anyone that attends.

Prefer to attend a class in person? Join us this week at DrupalCamp Atlanta on Nov 8th  or check out the other workshops happening around the world for Drupal Global Training Days.

Space is limited, so sign up for Getting Started with Drupal 8 today!
