The WordCamp season is in full swing for 2019 and one of my favorites, WordCamp Miami, is coming up from March 15th to 17th.
WordCamp Miami also has a connection with Zac's upcoming React Explained Book, which he started writing at the event last year. He will have the first print copies at WordCamp Miami 2019.
In 2018, WordCamp Miami celebrated its 10th year. David Bisset, along with the many other great organizers, has been a champion in both the WordPress and Miami communities. If you don't know David, he is very active on Twitter. Zac and I both especially like his Armchair WordCamp Tweets, where he helps others follow along from home.
Catching Up With WordCamp Miami
If you haven't been to WordCamp Miami before, you can see videos of the talks from last year on WordPress TV.
WordCamp Miami has been doing a live stream since 2017, though I highly recommend attending in-person to engage with the community.
Kids Camp and Community
WordCamp Miami has been doing a kids workshop since 2014. The Kids Camp innovators this year will be William Jackson and Aida Correa, two people passionate about teaching and inspiring the next generation.
Being one of the largest WordCamps, Miami attracts people from all over. I know with the winter weather most of us have been experiencing lately I am looking forward to a trip to Miami in March.
