SAN FRANCISCO (August 15, 2024) – Pantheon, the SaaS-based website operations (WebOps) platform for developers, designers and marketers, has introduced a series of platform enhancements that streamline backend visibility, elevate website performance and simplify platform user experiences. The advancements provide consistent, high-quality experiences with an organization's most valuable digital asset – the website, while delivering increased agility to enable developers to focus on innovation.

Key Enhancements at a Glance:

  • Enhanced transparency into development and operational processes
  • Comprehensive analytics for proactive site management
  • Simplified site management create operational efficiency
  • Improved site performance consistency

New Workflow Logs enable complete visibility into all site changes made within the Pantheon platform, bringing transparency and traceability to development and

operational processes. Integration with the New Relic v2 API allows organizations to stay on top of performance, resolve issues quickly and optimize their sites through the use of intelligent performance insights and analytics.

Other new advancements, such as Pantheon’s ‘Must Use’ plugin for WordPress sites and intuitive dashboard upgrades, simplify site management, improve efficiency and deliver deeper monitoring and performance insights. Cumulatively, these new platform features allow organizations to unlock the full technical capabilities of their WebOps platform.

“Consumer demand for perfect web experiences leaves no room for error, with a site’s traffic and reputation at risk,” said David Strauss, Chief Technology Officer at Pantheon. “The latest updates in Pantheon’s WebOps platform are fundamental to delivering high-quality digital experiences for both internal and external audiences at all times while also freeing up developers’ precious time to innovate towards higher goals.”

As organizations continue to focus on enhancing their websites' digital experiences and meeting regulatory demands for improved accessibility, Pantheon also introduced the next generation of Advanced Page Caching for WordPress sites and an improved load balancer. These new features speed up websites by handling caching more efficiently, so pages load quicker and server loads drop - reducing end user friction. All of Pantheon’s new platform features increase flexibility, reduce friction for developers and seamlessly make it simpler than ever before to deliver a high-quality web user experience.
