Every picture tells a compelling story, but some pull us in more than others. Like this one captured at BADCamp last year. While we could come up with some pretty witty captions, I think it’s best we leave that to you!
Community Over Everything
It’s safe to say, we accomplished quite a bit in 2019. Like sharing our WebOps story with all of you! But, that’s not all we’re proud of. Last year, we spent a good portion of our time giving back to the WordPress & Drupal communities who inspire us every day. In 2019, we were honored to sponsor over 140 community events. Of those events, nearly 172 Pantheors delivered sessions, including 37 of our beloved Pantheon Heroes. We also partnered with OpenNews to send seven underrepresented scholarship participants to WordCamp for Publishers.
Events weren’t the only place we made an impact. In March, we launched the Pantheon Hero Advocacy Program and Pantheon Community! Our heroes program focuses on educating the greater open source community through contributions, written content and collaboration. Today we have nearly 100 heroes embarking on this journey with us! These Heroes have helped beta test new product offerings (LocalDev), assisted with Pantheon-offered training and contributed to Docs.
“My friends know it’s not a joke when I say I love Pantheon and their offerings. I'm excited for heroes and their potential to teach the workflow to those who may not currently see the need, or benefits. Couple that with the performance and support of Pantheon, and what I really hope is that more of my consulting work will be sites hosted and built on Pantheon.”
- Roy Sivan, Senior Software Engineer at Disney and Pantheon Hero
Last year was one to remember! To kick off the new year, here’s a visual reminder of the amazing accomplishments (and fun!) we were able to achieve in 2019 with you, our community, by our side.
