Enhanced Pantheon Overage Policy, Traffic Limits, and Pricing

Today, Pantheon launched enhancements to our overage policy, traffic limits, and pricing to improve your experience on Pantheon. As your trusted business partner, we are committed to providing you with greater flexibility, value, and confidence in us. 

New Overage Policy:

We have introduced a new and improved overage policy to enhance predictability and cost savings. Instead of being forced to change site plans due to exceeding visitor limits, customers will now be charged $40 for each additional 10,000 site visitors or portion thereof that exceeds the included visitor limit. No more automatic upgrades; you only pay for what you need.

We've also improved our Overage Protection policy, offering one month of waived overages every 12 months for all customers (excluding Basic and monthly subscribers), and four months for qualifying nonprofit organizations.

For new customers coming onto the platform for the first time, there will be a three-month grace period starting with your service start date (the day a site is first  moved from a Sandbox to a commercial plan) where no overages will be incurred. This allows you the time to get calibrated on the platform and focus on what is most important: the successful launch of your web site(s) on Pantheon.

Traffic Limit Increases:

Starting today, Basic and Performance annual subscribers receive an automatic 40% increase in traffic limits, supporting the growth of their digital presence while reducing the likelihood of future overages.

Preferred Pricing and Enhanced Overage Protection for Nonprofit Organizations:

Qualifying 501(c)3 nonprofits and those operating via a 501(c)3 fiscal sponsor now get Preferred Pricing for the first time, along with four months of overage protection. 

Pricing Changes for Credit Card Customers:

For our credit card customers, monthly subscription prices have increased modestly (approximately 10%), starting today. Annual credit card subscription costs remain unchanged for the seventh consecutive year. Monthly subscribers can switch to an annual plan to maintain previous investment and unlock traffic limit benefits. Details on pricing and traffic limits can be reviewed here

Invoicing Changes for Contract Customers:

Contract customers will now receive overage invoices quarterly, streamlining the process and reducing administrative overhead.
