Terms and Conditions for the Best in WebOps Awards, presented by Pantheon

Official Rules 

  1. Contest Description

With digital productivity and impact at the forefront, the Best in WebOps Awards seek to recognize and celebrate the most innovative leaders and teams who are embracing the tools and best practices of WebOps to create magic on the internet. These awards are open to individuals and teams of all sizes, in all markets, who are leading and delivering extraordinary digital experience strategies. 

WebOps brings together developers, designers, content editors, and other marketing and IT roles. This results in cross-functional web teams that are empowered to iteratively develop, test, and release website changes with agility. We are eager to celebrate the individuals and teams who embody the potential of WebOps to drive new levels of productivity, collaboration, and business results.

We actively encourage all WebOps professionals, especially those in non-technical roles and from traditionally marginalized communities, to apply to the awards. 

  1. Contest Start + End Date

This contest starts at 12:01 AM Pacific Time on Monday, October 17 and ends at 11:59 PM Pacific Time on Monday, December 12, 2022. Entries must be received within the entry period to be eligible. Any entries received outside of those dates will be disqualified. Pantheon may, in its sole discretion, extend the contest end date for a reasonable period. 

  1. General Submission Guidelines

  • All submissions must include a nominee who has agreed to participate in the 2022 Best in WebOps Awards.

  • Nominees for the 2022 Best in WebOps Individual Awards must be a member of their organization’s web team/digital agency and/or has been involved in the strategy, development, or execution of websites.

  • Nominees for the 2022 Best in WebOps Team Awards must have at least two project contributors on their team, and their nominated website should have been launched or modified in 2022 and demonstrates how they came together to drive real impact and innovation.

  • All submissions must be complete, filled out using our official submission form linked above, and be received within the contest entry period to be eligible).

  • Participants are able to submit to both the individual and team awards. Each submission will need its own submission form to be completed.

  • The judges' decisions are deemed final and they will not be required to justify or comment upon its decisions.

  1. Contest Eligibility

By sending in a submission for consideration for the Best in WebOps Awards, entrants agree to the terms of Pantheon’s Privacy Policy, which informs Best in WebOps Awards entrants of the types of information Pantheon collects, including the reason we collect such information, how we share it, and how we safeguard it. By submitting an entry form, entrants will be required to affirmatively consent to Pantheon’s use of entry form information to contact you, including by email communications from Pantheon, our affiliates, and authorized third parties from time to time pertaining to Pantheon’s business in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

By submitting an entry, you hereby agree and approve for use by Pantheon for marketing purposes the content you submit on the entry form (either as a customer or as a partner on behalf of a customer) and any modification, derivative form, display, performance and other use thereof in connection with the Best in WebOps Awards and general marketing. By submitting your entry form, you are confirming that you have all necessary consents to submit information on behalf of the third parties featured in your submission (whether partners, customers, or individuals), and you are confirming that such third parties are aware of and have agreed to the use of the submitted material for Pantheon marketing purposes. You understand that Pantheon may require you to produce evidence of such third-party consent in the form of a confirmation email or other written and signed instrument from each such third party describing the potential marketing and publication use of such materials. You and your communications team will also have many opportunities to co-market your award win and/or customer success story with Pantheon which—at a minimum— will include a spotlight profile repurposed from information from your entry.

By participating in the 2022 Best in WebOps Awards, you irrevocably permit, authorize, grant, and license Pantheon and its affiliates, successors, and assigns, and the employees, officers, directors, and agents (“Authorized Persons”), the rights to record, photograph, digitize, display, exhibit, transmit, reproduce, modify, alter, edit, adapt, create derivative works, and otherwise use your name, image, likeness, and appearance, voice, professional and personal biographical information, and all materials created by or on behalf of Pantheon that incorporate any of the foregoing ("Materials") in perpetuity in any medium or format now existing or hereafter created, including but not limited to the internet and other digital platform, mobile applications, electronic, magnetic, and optical media, for or in relation to Pantheon general marketing and the Best in WebOps Awards, including but not limited to marketing, public relations, publicity, and promotion of Pantheon, without further consent from or other compensation to you. You acknowledge and agree that you have no right to review or approve Materials before they are used by Pantheon, and that Pantheon has no liability to you for any editing or alteration of the Materials or for effects resulting from Pantheon’s editing or use of the Materials.

Please note: The Best in WebOps Awards are subject to federal, state, and local laws and regulations and are void where prohibited by law. We are not responsible for entries that we do not receive. We will automatically disqualify: (1) any incomplete or illegible entry; (2) any entry that does not meet the contest criteria. 

By participating in the 2022 Best in Webops Awards, either as an entrant or as a nominee, you acknowledge complete acceptance and full understanding of these Terms and Conditions. Pantheon reserves the right to cancel the awards at any time due to a force majeure event, or for any other reason at the sole discretion of Pantheon.
